My first tank model was this American main battle tank, the Abrahams M1A1.
I discovered night shift youtube channel and followed his step witch brought me great results.
Here the painting. Chipping and weathering, all following night Shift`s methods. It was my very first painting atemp and I am still stoked by the results
Then I added an oil technique that consist of rubbing oil paint slightly lighter than the original color in the upper faces and slightly darker in the lower and shaded part to give even more volume.
And a little dot weathering to simulate rain marks. Not a lot since this tank maneuvered in dry zones
And now one of the most satisfying process, the chipping. Staring this a light color chipping made out of sponge and small pincel.
Then....... Then no more step by step photos. I`ll have to jump directly to the final
